“We Train for You” (aka day training) is an in-home dog training service where we come to your home and train your dog or puppy during the day—without you needing to be present.

Unlike other options, our in-home dog training programs feature:

• NO sending your dog away for weeks (like board and train)
• NO stressful daily drop-offs before work to a local training facility
• SUCCESS in your home and neighborhood, where behavior matters the most!

At The Persuaded Pooch:

• We train your dog or puppy 3x per week
  • 30-minute sessions for puppies (20 weeks and under)
  • 60-minute sessions for adult dogs
• You receive recaps and video updates after each session
• We meet weekly to coach you and transfer your dog's skills to you

Yes! We offer flexible, zero-interest payment plans, if needed, to make training packages more easily accessible for our clients.

Options include weekly, bi-weekly and monthly options, payable via credit/debit card over the course of your training package.

One of the biggest advantages is how quickly skills can be built and reinforced right in your own home and neighborhood, where your dog spends most of their time.

With our trainers, your dog receives clear, effective guidance from the start—tailored to their individual needs and your lifestyle.

Because we work hands-on with your dog 3x per week, we are building skills more quickly than a traditional coaching model of training, so that you can find real results more quickly.

You still learn the skills, too! We coach you via weekly transfer sessions on how to maintain progress so your results actually last.

Our "We Train for You" in-home dog and puppy training programs are ideal for:

• Leash reactivity (barking, lunging, or overexcitement on walks)
• Basic obedience & manners (sit, down, stay, come, polite greetings, loose leash walking, reducing nuisance behaviors, and building healthy habits)
• Nuisance behaviors at home (counter-surfing, chewing, escaping out doors)
• Puppy training (early obedience, socialization, crate training, establishing daily routines)

With consistent, structured sessions throughout the week, new behaviors can be learned quickly!

We Train for You training programs would not be appropriate for: Stranger-Danger (fear of strangers).

Dogs who are fearful of unfamiliar people often feel more comfortable when their owner is involved—creating a better learning experience.

We use positive reinforcement!

This includes:

• Focuses on reinforcing desired behaviors through rewards like treats, toys, and praise
• Clear communication and structure
• Meeting the emotional and physical needs of each individual dog (i.e. sleep, exercise, mental enrichment, stress reduction)

Our focus is on reliable, lasting results, not quick fixes.

You’ll start with an Initial Behavior Evaluation, where the trainer will review your dog’s history, discuss your priorities and training goals, and recommend the best training plan or package for you and your dog. Evaluation fee will be applied towards the purchase of a training bundle, making it FREE!
