Muzzle Training and Leash Walking Training

Sometimes there are some key skills or experiences that you might need your dog to be comfortable with quickly. However, you may not have the time to work with your dog, or you may not know where to start. That's where we can help!

We can do the work for you by teaching your dog to wear a muzzle for improved safety, or to comfortably wear a Gentle Leader to improve walks quickly.

Basket Muzzle Training | $800

There are LOTS of really good reasons to muzzle train ANY dog (not just for aggression).

But it can take a lot of time, patience and practice for a dog to become accepting of it. And sometimes, you don't have time to lose.

Let us take the burden off of you and do the basket muzzle training for you!

This package entails:

• One 30-minute Zoom session to get a brief history on your dog and plan for your trainer's first visit. You'll receive a receipt of your purchase via email, and you will schedule this Zoom session with the link provided in the email.

• Three 30-minute visits per week for 3 weeks (9 visits total) to train your dog to comfortably wear a muzzle. Your trainer will work with you to establish a visit schedule.

• Also includes a 60-minute in-person Transfer Session at the end of the package to ensure that we teach you the best way to put the muzzle on, and continue to help your pup make a positive association with it. Your trainer will also schedule this for you, based on mutual availability.

Package DOES NOT include the basket muzzle. We recommend the Baskerville Muzzle to start. However, your dog's anatomy may require a different brand, especially small breeds and brachycephalic breeds.

Gentle Leader & Leash Walking Training | $800

Let's talk honestly... Teaching loose leash walking takes time, consistency and, most of all, patience. In the meantime, your dog is pulling you down the street. You're embarrassed or maybe even injured as a result.

We can help! This service is intended for dogs or puppies that are extreme pullers, and could benefit from learning to wear walking equipment like a Gentle Leader.

The goal of this package is to get your dog out for walks that are more pleasant for you both... FAST!

This service is not intended for dogs that are nervous, scared or reactive to people or other dogs. For these services, please see our What's Best for Me? page.

This package entails:

• One 30-minute Zoom session to get a brief history on your dog and plan for your trainer's first visit. You'll receive a receipt of your purchase via email, and you will schedule this Zoom session with the link provided in the email.

• Three 30-minute visits per week for 3 weeks (9 visits total) to train your dog to comfortably wear walking equipment like a leash, harness or head halter, and to ultimately get you out walking more comfortably with your dog. Your trainer will work with you to establish a visit schedule.

• Also includes a 60-minute in-person Transfer Session at the end of the package to ensure that we teach you the best way to put your dog's walking equipment on, continue to help your pup make a positive association with it and get out for an enrichment walk. Your trainer will also schedule this for you, based on mutual availability.

Package DOES NOT include the walking equipment. Your trainer will make some recommendations during your initial Zoom call.
